SWTIME.RMF 07/07/87
These programs are designed to interface to the
Dallas Semiconductor SmartWatch/TimeKeeper family of Real Time
Clock (RTC) parts.
The SmartWatch includes its own crystal time base and
lithium battery. The SmartWatch maintains time information,
including hundredths of a seconds, seconds, minutes, hours, day
of week, day of month, month and year. The date at the end of
the month is automatically adjusted for months with fewer than 31
days, including correction for leap year. Hours of the day can
be tracked in either 12- or 24-hour format.
These time keeping devices are offered in several socket-
style hybrid versions of the DS1215 TimeKeeper: These
clock/calendar devices, fit into 28-pin 0.6-inch-wide DIP
(Dual-In-line Package) memory sockets.
This file contains:
SWTIME.RMF This file.
SWTIME.HIS Contains the modification history of all files.
SWTIMExx.Z80 The source code for SWTIME.
SWTIME.COM SWTIME configured to run on the SB180.
SWTIMEFX.COM SWTIME configured to run on the SB180FX.
These programs have ONLY been tested on the SB180 and
SB180FX. However they should work on any Z80 type computer,
provided that the SmartWatch is correctly installed, and the
addressing of the SmartWatch is properly dealt with. See
SWTIMExx.Z80 for further information.
I would like to thank every one who has helped me get these
programs tested and debuged, particularly Ken Davidson, Verlon
Rogers, and Dick Mead.
Please send any updates and/or corrections to:
