BFUPDAT1.LBR
WHAT ARE THESE FILES?
These are version 2.02 of BRADFORD.COM, to replace version 2.0
found in BRAD2-A.LBR. They use LESS MEMORY than the older
version, eliminate a bug or two, and print odd-numbered widths
better on type MX printers.
Both new files are identical, except BF2SMALL limits you to 140
characters per line, while BRADFORD allows 200 characters per
line. Use BRADFORD unless your computer doesn't have enough
memory. BF2SMALL requires about 2K less memory. The font file
TYPE.BF2 is included only for demo purposes; you may delete it
if you already have another copy of it.
WHAT IS BRADFORD?
Bradford is a program that prints WordStar and ASCII files in
very high quality ("near letter quality") on your dot matrix
printer, even if your printer has no built-in high-quality mode.
Bradford works on Epson, Gemini, IBM, Panasonic, Canon, and other
Epson-compatible printers. It includes a large number of fonts
(typefaces).
For a quick demo, type this:
BF2SMALL UPDATE.DOC
Or if you have a Gemini printer, type this:
BF2SMALL UPDATE.DOC .PF1
Bradford will then print this information file on your printer.
Be advised that this set of files is NOT the full Bradford
package, so Bradford will not work as well as it should. Get the
whole Bradford package for full functionality.
HOW DO I GET BRADFORD?
You can purchase your own copy of Bradford by sending a check or
money order for $39.95 (in United States dollars) to:
Concom Enterprises, Box 5056, Champaign, IL 61820, USA.
You can get a fully functional sample copy of Bradford from your
local bulletin board system, computer club, or software library.
The sample copy is a full working version, intended for trial use
so you can decide whether you wish to purchase your own copy.
ANY QUESTIONS:
You can write to the above address, or you can contact the author
of Bradford, Aaron Contorer, on the CompuServe or GEnie
information services.
