  1. We spent hours making this program work and yet it seems a
  2. really obvious bug went unnoticed ...

  4. I have now removed two spurious lines of code from DATE.C which
  5. caused the Gregorian-to-DRI conversion to be out by one day in
  6. leap years and in the years immediately before leap years.
