  1. This library contains information on the Compuserve 'B' protocol along with
  2. other information on the VIDTEX communications programs used in the CIS
  3. environment.
  4.  
  5.     There are two files in this library:
  6.     -  BPROTO.DQC - A squeezed, printer ready document describing
  7.             the 'B' protocol in detail.
  8.  
  9.     -  BP.C          - A sample program written in C to implement the 
  10.             Compuserve 'B' protocol.  It is intended to serve
  11.             as an example subroutine called from the main
  12.             communications program.

  14. These files were downloaded from Compuserve.

  16. I was curious and wanted to know exactly what this 'B' protocol was and how it
  17. worked.  The MEX terminal program makes reference to Compuserve protocols and
  18. that sparked my search for information.
