  13. Well here it is only days after Russ has released his
  14. fabulous PBBS and we had to figure out ways around some
  15. of the 'nifty' built in security features.  As our name
  16. "DUALing" implies, we had to find away to allow both of 
  17. us to have EQUAL Access / SYSOP NAMING STATUS and MESSAGE
  18. RECEIVING Capabilities. (hummmm).

  20. First - Thanks to Russ for releasing this great Z80 PBBS.
  21. (yea!)
  22.  
  23. Second... and we have many users who want to leave a message
  24. with (1) BOTH of US or (2) ONE of US in particular. Soooo
  25. If in your PBBSHDR.MAC file at the SYSOP:: label you will add
  26. a TWO part common name -(we havn't found a way around being
  27. one part yet) like BOTH SYSOPS or THE SYSOPS or ALL SYSOPS etc.
  28. Then on the FIRST PINSTAL run you use and leave a message to
  29. ALL under THIS name, this will allow for multiuse of the
  30. N)ame versus S)ysop option on ENTERING MAIL.

  32. Third... have EACH of your REMOTES call in and 'BUMP' thier
  33. ACCESS level to a #9 and your SET for ACTION (!)
  34.  
  35. USE: If the "ALL SYSOPS" name is used you will have access to
  36. all messages and can LEAVE COMMON MAIL to ALL from "BOTH SYSOPS"
  37.      If the (individual) SYSOP NAME (real name) is used your 
  38. messages will reflect either your REAL N)AME or 'plain S)YSOP'
  39. on MAIL and NOT the "ALL SYSOPS" (whew!)...
  40.  
  41. I know this may seem a bit of a double call, but when you have
  42. 'DUAL-SYSOPs' or >, running a system you may find it handy.
