Beware file for CP/M-80 Kermit V4.09 on the Z80MU emulator.
Dont try DIR! Not all BDOS/BIOS routines are fully supported,
and DIR calculates size of files etc using some of these
routines. SET USER does nothing.
This version of KERMIT is very sloy in CONNECT state! All comms
is done by the IBM PC BIOS calls to talk to COM1:. Sending
characters is very S--L--O--W, though its not too bad receiveing
characters. File transfers however are OK, strangely enough.
Be warned: you MUST set no parity, 8 data bits, and a suitable
baud rate from MS/PC DOS and MODE COM1: etc.
This version was generated partly out of fun, partly 'cause my
only CP/M-ish system with enough disk space lost 20 Mbyets... the
PC/AT and PS/2 systems had more than ample space.
Its also useful to develop systems on a PC too...
Any comments etc....
Bertil Schou.
