  2. Short: Simple fast viewdata emulator with doc. file & source, self un-loading.

  4. vdx.com is based on Philip Wade's Pascal sourced vdu.com and was written in
  5. assembly language to give the pace needed to keep up with 9600 bps line
  6. speeds.  It operates a 40 column screen in viewdata mode with double-height
  7. characters as appropriate and inverse video for highlighted backgrounds.
  8. A log file of the session in viewdata format is available as is a file of
  9. selected ASCII pages.
