  5. The Rainbow-100 implemention of MS-DOS Kermit Version 2.32 runs on the Rainbow
  6. 100, Rainbow-100B, and Rainbow-190 with MS-DOS version 2.05 or later.  The
  7. Rainbow Kermit diskette is in RX50 format for DOS 2.0, volume label KERMIT, and
  8. contains the following files:

  31. The MSVRB2 version is an offshoot of an earlier release, with many features
  32. added, including VT220 emulation, pop-up menus, etc.  No further development
  33. work was ever done on this version.

  35. Space does not permit including the assembler source for the Kermit program,
  36. but it can be ordered on magnetic tape from Columbia University, or obtained
  37. over various computer networks or from dialup hosts (but note that Columbia
  38. will always have the most up-to-date set of source files).

  40. The .BOO file programs are useful for encoding binary files as printable text
  41. (.BOO) files and decoding them back into their original form, for convenient
  42. shipping over communication lines, networks, or electronic mail.  New versions
  43. of Kermit are often distributed in .BOO format.
