  7.             The source files (which are concatenated into a single large
  8.         file on the distribution tape) are:

  20.             1)  Seperate and configure the units using the same procedure
  21.                 given in UCPECAN.D.TEXT (steps 2..5) except that the file 
  22.                 being edited (in step 3) is UCP1.1UPD instead of UCPECAN.P
  23.                 Replace the old SENDER.TEXT and RECEIVER.TEXT files with
  24.                 these new ones.

  26.             2)  If you are running under SFS compile the unit DIR.FIXES
  27.                 using the C(ompile command. (Do not compile this UNIT if
  28.                 you are running under AFS.)
  29.  
  30.             3)  Compile the new SENDER and RECEIVER units using the
  31.                 C(ompile command.
  32.  
  33.             4)  If you combined units of your KERMIT into a single file
  34.                 (for faster loading, as explained in UCPECAN.D.TEXT step 7)
  35.                 use LIBRARY.CODE again to replace the SENDER and RECEIVER
  36.                 units with the new ones and (if running under SFS) add
  37.                 the DIR_FIXES unit.

  40.                              Kermit-UCSD Changes to V1.1
  41.             
  42.             1)  Added a new Unit (DIR.FIXES) to work around problems
  43.                 encountered with SFS. This update removes Limitation #4,
  44.                 making BINARY file transfers exact in both SFS and AFS
  45.                 implementations.
  46.  
  47.             2)  Fixed a bug that caused an incorrect time to be sent in
  48.                 the attribute packet if no time was specified with the
  49.                 creation date (this bug affected both AFS and SFS).
