  1. Welcome to the new (November 1994) C-Kermit directory.
  2. All the files in this directory are text files: source code,
  3. initialization and/or script files, documentation.
  4.  
  5. This directory also contains numerous C-Kermit binary files
  6. encoded in printable text format: uuencoded, BinHex'd, etc.
  7.  
  8. This directory does NOT, however, contain VMS hexified
  9. binaries.  They are in their own directory, kermit/vmshex.
  10. UNIX binaries are all in the kermit/bin directory, as
  11. ckuker.*.  See kermit/bin/READ.ME for details.

  13. For packed archives, such as compressed tar files and ZIP
  14. files, please go to the kermit/archives directory, where
  15. you will find UNIX C-Kermit and OS/2 C-Kermit compressed
  16. archives.

  18. For a detailed overview of C-Kermit's file organization and
  19. naming conventions, get the file ckaaaa.hlp from this
  20. directory and read it.
