  1. THIS IS A BRIEF SUMMARY OF INSTALLATION AND USAGE INSTRUCTIONS
  2. FOR LOTUS SPEED-UP AND LEARN ADD-INS
  3.  
  4. INSTALLATION OF THE ADD-IN MANAGER
  5.  
  6. Copy the following files to the 123 directory:
  7.  - 123.DYN
  8.  - ADN_MGR.DRV
  9.  - ADD_MGR.EXE
  10.  - DEL_MGR.EXE
  11.  - LEARN.ADN
  12.  - SPEEDUP.ADN
  13.  
  14. Command: ADD_MGR 123.SET (or substitute your driver set name)
  15.  
  16. To remove Add-in Manager:
  17. Command: DEL_MGR 123.SET
  18.  
  19. USING THE ADD-IN MANAGER
  20.  
  21. In 123, ALT F10 will bring up Manager Menu.
  22. ATTACH  Loads a 123 Add-in into memory
  23. DETACH  Removes Add-ins (Lotus Learn is not detachable)
  24. INVOKE  Uses an attached Add-in
  25. CLEAR   Removes all detachable Add-ins and frees memory
  26. SETUP   Specifies Add-ins to be attached automatically when
  27.         starting 123
  28. QUIT    Leaves Manager menu

  30. Add-ins may be assigned to ALT F7 - F8 - F9, and invoked by these
  31. keys, or thru the menu.  They can also be attached and invoked by
  32. macros.

  34. THE LOTUS SPEEDUP ADD-IN optimizes the recalculation of cells in
  35. many 123 worksheets.  It recalculates only those cells with
  36. formulas whose values have changed since the worksheet was last
  37. recalculated, and the cells that depend on them.  The file
  38. SPEEDUP.WK1 demonstrates the recalculation improvement.

  40. THE LOTUS LEARN ADD-IN  "learns" keystrokes and translates them
  41. into macro format in a worksheet range called the Learn range.
  42. Invoke thru Manager Menu and specify Learn range (one column).
  43. Use ALT F5 to begin recording keystrokes, and again to end.

  45. The manager and both add-ins are included in current 123
  46. packages, and being made available to registered users thru
  47. dealers (apparently at no charge), and directly thru Lotus (at a
  48. charge).  Obviously, these are only for the use of registered
  49. owners of 123, and cannot be expected to work with 123
  50. workalikes.  Suggest you contact your dealer to get the full
  51. documentation set.
