Fragments of tall beakers decorated with a horizontal wavy trail and often also a blue glass thread have been found in the towns of the Baltic area. The beakers date from the end of the 14th and beginning of the 15th century, and their shards are only known from Tartu, Turku, Stockholm and L├╝beck. The vessel could thus be called the ΓÇÿBaltic beakerΓÇÖ. Due to the small amount of finds, we have not been able to reconstruct these beakers decorated with wavy glass trails. The northern finding sites and the type of glass used indicate that the vessels were produced in the eastern parts of Germany, in the same area as Fadenrippenbechers.
