  12. I. Installing Home Budget version 3.01

  15.   1) Unpack all files into a temporary directory. (ie C:\TEMP)
  16.  
  17.   2) Run SETUP.EXE using the Windows 95 run command or Shell, or
  18.      the Filemanager under Windows 3.1 
  19.  
  20.      This will install the files and setup the icons.

  30. II. Description of Home Budget
  31.     --------------------------

  33.     Home Budget Finance manager is designed in the traditional
  34.     envelope system where you set aside a portion of your income
  35.     for various expenses. 
  36.     
  37.     Where other finance/bugetting systems are clumsy or too
  38.     complex to use, Home Budget is designed to be simple, yet has
  39.     all the most frequently needed features in a robust easy to
  40.     use interface.

  42.     It's a simple easy to use concept for budgeting. Each month
  43.     you create budget transactions automatically that move your
  44.     income into various accounts that allocate these funds. Just
  45.     like putting your income into various envelopes, where each
  46.     envelope is for a different purpose, ie one for Groceries,
  47.     one for Car Repairs and so on. Then when you actually spend
  48.     money on Groceries or Car Repais, it comes out of the money
  49.     in that envelope and is also recorded against the real fund
  50.     account (ie CheckBook, Bank, CreditCard etc.).
