Transcription: A nuclear power station is a place where electricity is generated. Inside there is a heavily shielded nuclear reactor. At the core of the reactor heat is produced through the controlled nuclear fission of uranium. Pressurized water cools the reactor. It also takes heat to a steam generator where it is used to heat more water making steam to drive the turbine. This is connected to a generator It produces electricity we use every day.
