Transcription: This is the process of cell division where a single cell produces an exact copy of itself. Inside the cell nucleus double chromosomes show themselves. In the cytoplasm centrioles begin to move, their spindle fibres attach to the chromosomes. By now the thin skin around the nucleus has dissolved and each half of the chromosome separates and moves towards the poles. Finally the cytoplasm divides the nuclear skin reforms to create two new cells which are exact copies of the original.
