  1. ABOUT BattleBoard
  2.  
  3. When starting a new game you can choose between 3 modes:
  4.  
  5. * Normal game: Archon like game where you fight for 
  6.   the squares. The attacker gets an advantage.
  7.                 
  8. * Boardgame only: Like chess but with different set of moves.
  9.  
  10. * Battle: Just fight against your opponent until all his 
  11.   pieces are gone.
  12.  
  13. You can...

  15. 1. Play either against the computer or a human opponent 
  16. (presumably a friend) on your local machine.
  17.  
  18. 2. Set handicap to even out the game.
  19.                     
  20. To see the moves a piece can make, just choose it by pressing
  21. your action-key (see configure in the menu).
  22.  
  23. To win in Normal and Boardgame only either take the four 
  24. colored squares or kill the 'King' 
  25. (the piece in the middle on each side).
