It is impossible to say exactly how many languages are currently spoken throughout the world. Most experts believe that there are four or five thousand living languages, but if you include dialects as well there are over twenty thousand! Turkish is spoken throughout Turkey, and those areas where Turks live from the Balkans to Central Asia, and from Cyprus to Russia.
