  20. This game is shareware. If you like it you are asked to please register. Registration is $19.95 and unlocks 25 more levels of play. Please open the file "order.txt" for more information.

  38. Installation Notes

Adventures With Chickens requires DirectX 3.0a drivers or greater. If the game gives you the error "Missing required DLL file: DDRAW.DLL." Then you must install DirectX drivers. Go to RockSolid Software's download page and download the version of Chickens that includes the drivers. (http://www.rocksolidsoftware.com/games/chickens/download.html)

  42. Adventures With Chickens may not run on some older computers. The game may not run under Windows NT 4.0 unless you have the most current service pack.

  46. Quick Instructions
  47.  
  48. - Catch all chickens in level with your grappling arm by pressing SPACE bar.
  49.  
  50. - To get rid of aliens, honk your horn by pressing the "H" Key, then while adjacent to the alien, press CONTROL to short-circuit it.
  51.  
  52. - When you have caught all the chickens in the level, find the bomb, press down on it, then run for the exit.
  53.  
  54. - Press TAB to see your radar which displays you, chickens, aliens, asteroids, and the exit.
  55.  
  56. - Press SHIFT to make your ship fly in turbo mode.

  76. v1.00 - This version was started in early 1995 and took 14 months to complete. A robust DOS version was born February 1996.

  78. v1.20 - New graphics were added May 1997.

  80. v1.91 - The game was completely re-written for Windows 95. This version took three week to finish and shows how much God works. Finished August 21, 1997.

  82. v1.97 - The game was updated for DirectX 5 and included an installer.
