The Naval Landing moves are available to the Russians for two units in scenario one. The availability is specified in the OOB. The unit can be held for a later turn, thus holding a threat over the German strategy. The best naval landing move will threaten the German supply line and force the cessation of whatever operation the German has in progress. Naval Withdraw moves are also available in Crimea. During Scenario one and two, the Russian may choose to evacuate units rather than face certain destruction and the subsequent effect on the Russian performance review from Stalin.
