WALL $TREET RAIDER - (C) 1997 Michael D. Jenkins
INTRODUCTION AND QUICK-START INSTRUCTIONS:
If you are reading this file, you apparently have already
"unzipped" the compressed archive file, which contains
new Wall $treet Raider version 6.1.
To install Wall $treet Raider on your hard disk, create a
directory of any name (\WSR suggested) on your hard disk,
and copy all of the unzipped files into that directory.
Then, from that directory, simply type "WSR" (or "RAIDER")
and press the <ENTER> key to start the program. See
the USERINFO.DOC text file for information about using
the program and registering.
Each time you start a new game, the program asks you if you
want to automatically print out a registration form with
your printer. To register, simply print out the form, check
the items you wish to order, and mail to the address on the
registration form, along with your check or money order.
(Additional charge for shipping outside U.S.-Canada -- $5.00
U.S. NOTE: We can only accept checks payable in U.S. or
Canadian dollars, drawn on U.S. or Canadian banks.)
NEW FEATURES IN THIS UPDATE:
. REDUCED PRICE. You can now obtain the registered version
of Wall Street Raider for only $7.95, and can download
it instantly from the Web, AOL, or Compuserve, from any
of the atOnce Software Download Store sites. Or, you can
still order the latest registered update from us for $25
(plus $5 shipping/handling for shipment outside of U.S.
and Canada), and also receive the "Customizer" utility
program that allows you to customize the simulation by
changing the names and stock symbols of the companies in
Raider, to companies in your country or region. The
REGISTERED VERSION allows you to play games of up to 25
years duration, as you choose.
. DOWNLOADING FROM THE INTERNET. You can pay by credit
card on-line and IMMEDIATELY download registered version
6.3 (or later) for only $7.95, from the following Web
site:
http://www.atonce.com/pages/ga-door.htm
. NEW SCENARIOS, LOOPHOLE PLUGGING. We've added and
modified certain W$R "scenarios," and have plugged some
"loopholes" in the simulation that we were alerted to
by some creative users who found some ways of making
gobs of money playing Raider, that were way too easy.
Not any more....
