  4. Steve Meretzky has looked at the role-playing world through cracked lenses
  5. and the results will leave you laughing.  His unique brand of wacky humor has
  6. found a new home in this exciting product that features hilarious monsters and
  7. mutant superheroes locked in mortal combat in a post nuclear American
  8. wasteland. From the wilds of suburban New Jersey to the top of the Empire
  9. State Building, lead the Superhero League of Hoboken into battle as you
  10. struggle to defeat the baddest bad guy of them all, the evil Dr. Entropy.

  13. For those who can most easily reproduce PCX files, we have included several
  14. here.
  15.   
  16. COMBAT.PCX. - The combat interface features monsters across the top of the
  17. screen and Superheroes across the bottom.  As you can see, Robo Mop ("No mess
  18. too large") has used a deadly swarm of trained hornets to attack the roving
  19. All-Mine mines.  The fearsome mines were designed for super stealth, but 
  20. due to a greed virus planted in the programming, they frequently
  21. give themselves away by crying, "Mine! Mine! All mine!"  The remaining
  22. superheroes shown in this screen and their primary powers are as follows:  
  23.       The Crimson Tape - This character's extraordinary ability to "Create
  24.       Organizational Charts" makes him a born leader of Superheroes.

  26.       Captain Excitement - Converses in such a dull manner that he puts his
  27.       opponents to sleep.

  29.       Mademoiselle Pepperoni - Can divine the toppings of any pizza WITHOUT
  30.       OPENING THE BOX!!!

  33. You've never seen monsters like these! The remaining PCX files depict a few
  34. from the game.

  36. TUPPER.PCX - Tuppers feature an air-tight compartment to store their kills
  37. until they are ready to digest them.  Tuppers usually travel in fighting packs
  38. known as Tupper War Parties.
  39.  
  40. MISTLE.PCX - Cruise Mistletoes are guided nuclear-tipped plant sprigs that
  41. can literally kiss a foe to death.
  42.  
  43. SUPERMOM.PCX - Bred for child-rearing by radically anti-feminist
  44. fundamentalists, Supermoms have extraordinarily wide hips, massive mammaries
  45. and eyes in the backs of their heads.
  46.  
  47. BUG.PCX - The Unrepeatable Bug is a rare but tenacious pest with unknown
  48. origins.  It may have been created during a world-wide computer crisis on
  49. January 1, 2000, when many computer programs crashed because they could not
  50. recognize a year beginning with the number 2.
