  1. Welcome to CRIME FIGHTER !

  3. The included documentation is a little bit extensive. 
  4. Probably you won't like to read it before you play Crime Fighter
  5. the first time.
  6. Therefore here is a short introduction, so you can form a little
  7. idea of how the game works.
  8.  
  9. In this game you put yourself in position of a gangster just now
  10. released from prison. But you still stand on the lowest step of
  11. your career. The other gangsters take you for a failure and a
  12. coward. Your aim is to seize the leadership of the underworld.
  13. You achieve this by committing as many crimes as possible. 
  14. For every crime that you commit, you get one point. When you have 
  15. received some points, your rank is raised and your reputation in
  16. the underworld increases.
  17. Winner of the game is the first player who reaches the rank "Boss
  18. of the underworld".

  28. The players play one after another. At the beginning of each round
  29. a big menu appears in which you can select the following actions:

  31. Overview
  32. Go through town
  33. Gang war
  34. Next player
  35. Options
  36. End game

  38. The most important action here is "go through town".
  39. Every player can select this action only one time per round. 
  40. Then the next player is on turn.
  41. A from above visible town appears. Your figure is displayed as a
  42. little white man or a blue car, if you own one already.
  43. You move this figure with the mouse by pressing the direction 
  44. buttons in the right part of the screen or by using the cursor 
  45. keys on the keyboard.

  47. When you enter a building you always get a selection of several
  48. actions to do. If you want, try some possibilities for committing
  49. crimes. 
  50. If you press the button "map" or hit the key <F1>, a map
  51. appears on which you can click on the building about which you
  52. want to be informed. Then you get a list of actions that you 
  53. can do in the corresponding building.
  54. You have only a limited number of steps available, however.
  55. By moving with feet you have altogether 25 steps, but it can 
  56. increase up to 46 steps depending on your car. After consumption 
  57. of these steps your turn is over and the next player gets his
  58. chance.

  60. So, I hope that these information are enough to outline the 
  61. course of the game in a short way. In the documentation there 
  62. are far more descriptions of course.
