  1.                                  BD/PATCH

  3. This  file  accompanies  the BD/Patch Utility.  An  additional  text  file, 
  4. QUICKREF.TXT,  describes the commands and general concepts of the  program.  
  5. You may wish to print out the QUICKREF.TXT file before using Patch.

  7. BD/Patch  is  a  product of Breakthrough Designs,  and  is  distributed  as 
  8. "shareware."   What this means is that you may freely copy, distribute  and 
  9. examine  this  software.   However, if you find it  useful  and  intend  to 
  10. continue  using  it,  you are required to pay Breakthrough  Designs  for  a 
  11. license  to  continue  using the software.  This one-time  license  fee  is 
  12. only  $25.00,  and entitles you to both the latest  shareware  version  and 
  13. product  announcements  as we release new versions and/or titles,  both  in 
  14. shareware and commercial form.

  16. There  is  no  way that we can enforce your  obligation  to  register  this 
  17. product.   However,  we hope that you will do so in order  to  support  our 
  18. development  of future products.  The shareware concept depends  upon  this 
  19. sort  of support, and represents an excellent value compared to prices  for 
  20. commercial software.

  23. serial numbers of the copy you have (from within Patch, press ^O? for  this
