- EAGLE SPACECRAFT IMAGINE 2.9 MODEL FROM FILIP CAMERMANS
- ____________________________________________________________________________
-
- This model is based on the "Eagle" from the European 1970's cult television
- series "Space 1999". Off course, the real connoiseurs
- among you will already have noticed that it is NOT a perfect reproduction.
- This is mainly because I could only base myself upon an old Dinky Toys model
- and on the images from the series, and I happen to have had a lot of fun of
- being a little bit creative myself! It uses the windows family of textures
- that came with Imagine 2.9 to create realistic hullplate effects. That is by
- the way the only reason why I like these textures. To create bright windows
- you have to create bright objects that fit inside the objects you use the
- windows textures on. When you realise that my SpaceStation object (that is
- also available) uses up more than 2Mb all on its own, I find it infuriating
- to be forced to add other objects, not for adding detail, but only to have
- bright windows.
-
- I almost forgot to tell that the object file takes up a lot of memory
- because there is so much detail included.
- This one is definitely NOT for an A500, but that is the price to pay if you
- want your objects a little bit more detailed than average.
-
-
- And now for the more usual stuff...
-
- This object is freely distributable but not public domain. I only require
- that the following two files are present and unchanged when you give a
- copy to another person:
-
- Eagle.IOB
- Eagle.TEXT
-
- If you use it in your work, please credit me.
- If you make some nice still pictures or animations with it, let me
- know. Even better, send them to me by mail. I would love to see it!
- Don't intend to use this object for commercial purposes unless you have a
- thorough knowledge of copyright matters.
