A NIGHT ON RANGOR
Rangor is the third moon of
Taos IV, in the Gailan star
system located many light
years from the center of the
civilized galaxy.
It has served as a waystop,
a meeting place, and a source
of supplies for a millinium,
to those who travelled to the
neighboring Coso Nuovas
system, to obtain the chunks
of frozen grazal, so precious
in this part of the universe.
Because of it's plentiful
supplies of fuel resources,
and other desirable minerals,
cadmium, radium, berium and
the scarce dirilium; a mining
operation was constructed.
When the Tior'on Wave
approached this sector of the
galaxy, those insectiods with
such uncompariable ruthless-
ness, and intelligence to
match, soon realized the
strategic gain which control
of Rangor offered.
The quadraped, Tior'on Wave,
have been space-faring before
most other lifeforms had
crawled or rolled or flopped
out of the primodial soup
which spawned their creation
on their homeworlds, so it
was the Tior'on destiny to
rule all other lifeforms,
or so was their belief.
As the millinium passed,
the Tior'on Wave became to
mean fear, destruction,
obliteration and death to
all lifeforms who would not
submit to their rule.
One of the most notorious
Tior'on commanders was the
infamous Commodor Kroll,
champion of the Tior'on Wave,
conquerer of Alabar,
Tiris III, Banar'on, o'Tot
and a thousand other worlds.
A chance intelligence windfall,
lead to the realization that
Commodor Kroll would soon be
on Rangor, to supervise the
preparation for the expected
Tior'on offensive in this
sector.
It is expected that the
Commodor, his personal guard
and staff, are inspecting the
staging areas, planned by the
local Tior'on garrison.
This never-before opportunity
to capture or destroy this
hated bug commander, cannot
be ignored! The Wave will be
set back extensively by his
removal.
You will be outfitted with
a Mobile Infantry Battelion,
equipped with the new Gauven
Speeders, supported by a
Heavy Weapons platoon.
The strike force will be
transported in one of the
new "cloakable" Star Gallion
Transports to the far side
of the Rangor moon.
Your strike force must seek
out and capture or destroy the
hated Kroll, and return your
forces to the landing zone
for pickup and return.
