  7.     I hope you find that TranScan lives up to it's promise to be...

  11.     Please read the docs & use the on-line <F1> help. This program is so
  12.     packed with new features you might miss something if you are not
  13.     careful!

  15.     I understand that some of you CANT WAIT to get started. For all of you
  16.     I offer these simple instructions:
  17.  
  18.     1)  MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR SYSTEM!!!
  19.  
  20.     2)  Extract the following files to a directory in your path:
  21.  
  22.         TS.EXE, TS.OVR, TS.HLP
  23.  
  24.     3)  At your DOS prompt type the following:
  25.  
  26.         TS
  27.  
  28.     4) If you are upgrading from a previous version of TranScan or
  29.        converting from Catscan or ZipLab PLUS read the following file:
  30.  
  31.        UPDATE.DOC
  32.  
  33.     5) If you are a SYSOP and would like to install TranScan for the first
  34.        time with your BBS Software read the following file:
  35.  
  36.        BBSINFO.DOC
  37.  
  38.     6) Support Shareware!  To register your copy of TranScan call
  39.  
  40.        TOLL FREE 1-800-578-3061
  41.  
  42.     7) Upload TranScan to ALL the BBS Systems you call! They'll be glad you
  43.        did!
