  6.                    Tag Line Xpress v2.10 update patch

  10.         This release is in the form of a file update patch. You MUST
  11.         have the Tag Line Xpress version 2.00 package, this patch will
  12.         update the TLX.EXE file to the latest version 2.10 file. It will
  13.         not work on any older versions.

  15.         UnZIP the contents of this archive into the same directory as
  16.         the old TLX.EXE file. Then run the patch applicator program
  17.  
  18.         QUICKFIX TLX210
  19.  
  20.         and the file will be update within a few seconds. You may now
  21.         delete the patch file and the applicator program.

  24.         Why a patch?
  25.         ~~~~~~~~~~~~
  26.         Using a patch allows existing users to obtain the latest version
  27.         as a smaller archive file, saving time and phone bills. New TLX
  28.         users can simply install version 2.00 and run the patch file to
  29.         update TLX to the new version.

  32.         What's new?
  33.         ~~~~~~~~~~~
  34.         Tag Line Xpress now supports the Blue Wave reader including auto
  35.         installation. The Twit tagline limit has been raised to 500.
  36.         After editing a reply using the internal editor, TLX will now
  37.         re-suggest taglines. New duplicate tagline recognition routine
  38.         catches most truncated taglines. The pop up ASCII chart now
  39.         works in the Reader Signature entry box. A small bug in the Edit
  40.         tagline-on-the-fly option has been fixed.

  43.         Registration
  44.         ~~~~~~~~~~~~
  45.         Tag Line Xpress (TLX) is being distributed under the Shareware
  46.         concept, you may freely copy and distribute TLX in it's original
  47.         unmodified archive form. TLX is NOT crippled or restricted in
  48.         any way, the shareware version is a fully functional program to
  49.         allow you to evaluate it's performance - except for the random
  50.         appearance of a nag screen reminding you to register. After a
  51.         reasonable evaluation period you are expected to register TLX
  52.         with the author and send in a registration fee of US $10.00 (ten
  53.         US Dollars). Once you send in your registration fee, you will
  54.         receive a valid registration number that will eliminate the nag
  55.         screen, send $10 in cash, check or money order to the author at:

  62.         of TLX you are using, and the mail reader program you are using.
  63.         If you send a registration fee of US $25.00 (twenty five US
  64.         Dollars) or more, you will also be mailed the next release of
  65.         TLX when it is available on a 5.25 inch 360K disk.

  67.         TLX registration numbers are valid on ALL versions of TLX, past,
  68.         present and future, however, the author reserves the right to
  69.         change the registration method.
