Maybe there is a fossil conflict, it is advised not to unload X00 or BNU
before using Terminate, if it hangs or you get errors.
If your screen is messed up, when moving the mouse, try installing a newer
mouse driver Download LMOUSE61.ARJ from DAN BBS it works also with 100 and
132 columns.
If you have a 286 with an old bios and uses HIMEM.SYS, there could be some
problems. Try getting the newest HIMEM.SYS.
Download HIMEM303.ARJ from DAN BBS or run Terminate with the /NOXMS command
There has been reported several machines that was booted when using
ANSI music in a soundblaster, but only on 486 machines, the problem must
be solved. Please report if you got this problem.
If you are using QEMM386, 386MAX or simular and Terminate hangs when exiting
to DOS or shelling. Try renaming your autoexec.bat and config.sys first and
boot the computer.
REN AUTOEXEC.BAT A <┘
REN CONFIG.SYS C <┘
Then your computer is totally clean for device drivers and other things that
might will mess up things. Now run Terminate and see if it still hangs when
exiting or shelling.
If it works perfectly there is a conflict somewhere, try installing one
device-driver at the time and boot the machine and see if you can get the
error. If it turns out to be QEMM or other memory manager try excluding
X=B000-FFFF. This worked on a PS/2 33mhz. If that worked, try X=B000-EFFF
and process until Terminate hangs again. Other program which uses XMS/EMS
or high memory could also mess up, if you did not exclude the correct area.
