  21. Move the cursor using the Tab key and the arrow keys and edit the
  22. following attributes for each menu item:

  24. Menu text          Text to appear on the menu
  25. Command line       Command to be executed when this item is selected
  26.                    (Start with an asterisk if you want to define
  27.                    several commands.  Separate the commands with
  28.                    plus signs, e.g. *TYPE A:DATA.FIL+PAUSE)
  29. Parameters         Parameters to be supplied with the command
  30. Working directory  Directory to switch to before issuing the command
  31. Password           A password which must be entered when selecting,
  32.                    editing or deleting the menu item
  33. Log                File for logging the time spent with a given menu
  34.                    item

  36. To create a sub menu, you must do the following:
  37.  
  38. 1)  Type MENU MENUNAME (replace MENUNAME with a valid filename if
  39.     desired) as command for an item on a menu.
  40. 2)  Select this item, and an empty menu will appear.
  41. 3)  Edit the new menu.
  42.  
  43. If you would like to be prompted for PARAMETERS when a given item is
  44. selected, you must type the prompt between two percent signs in the
  45. parameter field, i.e. %File name% /X.  The menu system will
  46. display a dialog box for the user to enter parameters, which will
  47. be inserted into the parameters at the location where the prompt was.

  55. F3        = Exit menu system
  56. F4        = TCfiler (copy, move, delete, rename files and directories)
  57. F5        = TCeditor (edit ASCII files)
  58. F6        = Go to DOS
  59. F8        = Set date and time
  60. Ins       = Insert new item on the menu
  61. Del       = Delete menu item
  62. Shift+F7  = Change colors for this menu
  63. Alt+F7    = Move the menu on the screen (it is also possible to move
  64.             menu by "grabbing" its title with the mouse cursor (click
  65.             the mouse button and do not release it) and then drag the
  66.             menu to a new position on the screen)
  67. Alt+F8    = Edit current menu item
  68. Ctrl+F8   = Edit heading for this menu
  69. Esc       = Quit menu and return to previous level

  71. To select from the menu, press the highlighted character for the
  72. desired item, or move the cursor using the arrow keys and press Enter.

  77. Cut item              Move the current menu item to the clipboard
  78. Copy item             Copy the current menu item to the clipboard
  79. Paste item            Retrieve the menu item on the clipboard and

  83. Edit item             Edit menu text and command for item
  84. Delete item           Delete this item from the menu
  85. Heading               Edit the heading for this menu

  87. System configuration  Edit AUTOEXEC.BAT and CONFIG.SYS

  107. If your PC has a battery backed clock, the date and time will be
  108. stored between each time you turn off the machine.  Otherwise,
  109. the date will start at january 1st, 1980, and then time will
  110. start at 00:00.
