UPGRADING FROM 2.0 TO 2.1
-------------------------
Upgrading an existing TriBBS system from either version 2.0 or
2.01 can be easily accomplished as follows:
1) Replace all existing copies of BBS.EXE with the new version.
If you are running a multinode system, you must now run each node
from a separate copy of BBS.EXE. This is necessary because
TriBBS 2.1 now uses overlays to reduce overhead and failure to
use multiple copies of BBS.EXE will result in sharing violations.
2) Copy the file TTPROT.EXE to a directory that is in your DOS
PATH statement. It is very important that TTPROT be in your
PATH. If it is not in your PATH, your callers will not be able
to upload or download files.
3) Copy the file FILEMAN.EXE to your main TriBBS directory.
FILEMAN is TriBBS's new file list manager program and there must
be a copy of SYSDAT2.DAT in its directory for it to function
properly.
