  6. DESCRIPTION
  7.  
  8. The Stunts Track-Pack I is a collection of seven tracks for use with the
  9. commercial driving game Stunts.  The tracks are as follows:
  10.  
  11. 4AAUD - An excellent general track with lots of turns and changes.
  12. DIRT - A flat off-road track with many tight curves.
  13. DMBFAST - A speed track with a number of tough tricks.
  14. FUNNY - Difficult track with many suprises and variable-radius turns.
  15. ROUNDABT - Starts out fast, ends with great difficulty.
  16. SHORT - Under 2:00 track with most of it high in the sky.
  17. TWISTS - Off-road track that will test your driving skills.

  20. INSTALLATION
  21.  
  22. Place all the files contained in the .ZIP archive into your STUNTS 
  23. directory.  Access to the tracks can be accomplished through the track
  24. screen in Stunts.

  27. REGISTRATION AND LICENSE AGREEMENT
  28.  
  29. The use of the Stunts Track-Pack I is subject to the following terms
  30. and conditions:
  31.  
  32. The Stunts Track-Pack I is copyrighted material, protected by the
  33. copyright laws of the United States. You may not make any changes or
  34. modifications, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise reverse-engineer
  35. the software in any way.
  36.  
  37. The Stunts Track-Pack I can be used on a trial basis provided the
  38. user does not violate the protection afforded the licensed software by
  39. the copyright laws, and the user agrees to the terms of the license
  40. agreement. If the user continues to use the Stunts Track-Pack I past
  41. a 30 day evaluation period the user is obligated to purchase a license.
  42.  
  43. The Stunts Track-Pack I can be used on a Local Area Network provided
  44. that a license is obtained for the number of users that may concurrently
  45. use the software.
  46.  
  47. A license for the user of the Stunts Track-Pack I can be obtained
  48. by sending the appropriate fee to:

  54. Title to the licensed software is NOT transferred to the end user. The 
  55. end user is granted an exclusive license to use the software on one
  56. computer at any given time.

  59. DISTRIBUTION
  60.  
  61. Users are granted a limited license to copy the Stunts Track-Pack I
  62. only for the trial use by others subject to the terms of this software
  63. license agreement described herein, and the conditions described below
  64. are met:

  66. The Stunts Track-Pack I MUST be copied in an unmodified form and
  67. MUST contain the following files:
  68.

  71.    DIRT    .HIG
  72.    DIRT    .TRK
  73.    DMBFAST .HIG
  74.    DMBFAST .TRK
  75.    FUNNY   .HIG
  76.    FUNNY   .TRK
  77.    ROUNDABT.HIG
  78.    ROUNDABT.TRK
  79.    SHORT   .HIG
  80.    SHORT   .TRK
  81.    TWISTS  .HIG
  82.    TWISTS  .TRK
  83.    TP1     .TXT
  84.    REGTP1  .TXT

  86. No fee, charge or other compensation may be accepted or requested by
  87. anyone without the express written permission of 4A Software.
  88.  
  89. Public Domain Disk Vendors, Shareware Disk Vendors and Distributors of
  90. public domain and user supported software may not charge a fee for the
  91. Stunts Track-Pack I itself. However, you may include the Stunts Track-
  92. Pack I on a diskette for which you charge a nominal distribution
  93. fee. The purchaser of said diskette must be informed in advance that the
  94. fee paid to acquire the diskette does NOT relieve said purchaser from
  95. paying the registration fee for the Stunts Track-Pack I if said
  96. purchaser uses the Stunts Track-Pack I.

  98. Operators of electronic bulletin board systems may post the Stunts Track-
  99. Pack I for downloading by their users without written permission
  100. only as long as the above conditions are met. A fee may be charged for
  101. access to the bbs as long as no specific fee is charged for downloading
  102. the Stunts Track-Pack I files.

  104.  
  105. LIMITED WARRANTY
  106.  
  107. 4A Software does not warrant that the licensed software will meet
  108. any requirements or that the operation of the software will be
  109. uninterrupted or error free. The warranty does not cover any media or
  110. documentation which has been subject to damage or abuse by you or others.
  111. The software warranty does not cover any copy of the licensed software
  112. which has been altered or changed in any way.
  113.  
  114. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANT ABILITY OR
  115. FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE LIMITED TO THE TERM OF THE EXPRESS
  116. WARRANTIES. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied
  117. warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

  119. The warranties set forth above are in lieu of any and all other express
  120. or implied warranties, whether oral, written, or implied, and the remedies
  121. set forth above are the sole and exclusive remedies.
  122.  
  123. 4A Software is not responsible for any problems or damages caused
  124. by the licensed software that may result from using the licensed
  125. software. This includes, but is not limited to, computer hardware,
  126. computer software, operating systems, and any computer or computing
  127. accessories. End user agrees to hold 4A Software harmless for any
  128. problems arising from the use of the software.

  130. 4A Software SHALL NOT IN ANY CASE BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, 
  131. INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, INDIRECT OR OTHER SIMILAR DAMAGES ARISING
  132. FROM ANY BREACH OF THESE WARRANTIES EVEN IF 4A SOFTWARE OR ITS AGENTS
  133. OR DISTRIBUTORS HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE.
  134. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
  135. consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply
  136. to you.

  138. In no case shall 4A Software's liability exceed the license fees
  139. paid for the right to use the licensed software.
