SPORTS ver 1.1 - Serial Parallel PORT To IRQ Analyzer
Copyright (C) 1993 RainTree Computer Systems, Inc. All Rights Reserved.
SPORTS is a real-time serial and parallel port analyzer. It's purpose is
to determine the IRQ's that are attached to those ports. SPORTS does not
have any command line options. It just runs.
SPORTS tests all standard and non-standard DOS COM and DOS LPT ports. It
also tests standard serial and parallel port addresses which were not
identified to DOS.
It does not test non-standard addresses that are not identified as a DOS
COM or LPT port because they may actually be ports for other devices.
This could adversely affect the device because SPORTS re-programs (and
restores) the operating state of the port to determine the attached IRQ.
For this reason, it is also important not to run this program when either
a serial or parallel port is active, unless it is an intentional experiment.
