  4. v8.9   3/13/93 When  entering an un-qualified filename  on the command
  5.        line  SHEZ would  not allow access  to the file,  this has been
  6.        corrected.
  7.        When entering  a filename with a  $ anywhere in the  name, SHEZ
  8.        would not allow access to the file, this has been fixed.
  9.        To  display  the mouse  menu,  double clicking  the  left mouse
  10.        button has been reinstated.
  11.        Added  Freshen file, and  External Viewer launch,  to the mouse
  12.        menu.
  13.        When  entering a  filespec on  the command line  sometimes SHEZ
  14.        would not find the file, -- FIXED --
  15.        When  using *.* on  the command  line, or in  the configuration
  16.        file SHEZ would not find any files. --FIXED--
  17.        SHEZ will now accept relative  path names on the command  line.

  19.        The environment  variable SHEZEV is  no longer used  to specify
  20.        external viewers.  This has been replaced by a SHEZ.EV external

  40. v8.7   2/21/93 Additional corrections to identify PKZIP204E and G  SFX
  41.        files.
  42.        Move now does a -w- when running PKZIP204.
  43.        After converting archive,  perform test, if  test fails  delete
  44.        new archive and leave original intact.
  45.        SHEZ  can now  process compressed  files with  a  hidden and/or
  46.        system attribute.
  47.        When an error dialog box appears SHEZ will no  longer pull keys
  48.        from the recorded macro buffer to remove the dialog box.

  64.        When converting from one  compressed file type to another  SHEZ
  65.        can  now  convert nested  compressed  file  with the  following
  66.        exceptions:
  67.        1)  The  nested  compressed  file  MUST  NOT  HAVE A  DIRECTORY
  68.        associated with it.
  69.        2) Self extracting compressed files are not converted.
  70.        3) Only one level of nesting is handled.
  71.        4)  The nested  compressed  file  must  be of  a  type  that  a
  72.        compression program was specified for in the SHEZCFG setup.  If
  73.        a nested  compressed file is an  LHA file and the  user did not
  74.        specify the LHA  compression program in the  SHEZCFG setup then
  75.        the LHA compressed file will not be converted.

  77.        When copying  or moving files F9 can now be pressed to bring up
  78.        a directory tree to select the destination location.
  79.        Corrected  AV  display  when  displaying  ZIP  compressed files
  80.        created under PKZIP 204.

  90.        resulting in  have approx. 45K more memory  avaliable when SHEZ

  94. v8.6   01/29/93  Fixed problem of not being able to create an SFX file
  95.        under PKZIP204.
  96.        Added  ability to  activate or  deactivate EMS,  XMS,  and DPMI
  97.        support for PKZIP204 via configuration options.
  98.        Fixed problem of SHEZ not saving file back into compressed file
  99.        when editting and file was stored in  compressed file with path
  100.        information.

  168.        Ultravision mode and to use Ultravision if it is operating in a
  169.        support screen size.  Supported screen sizes are:  Columns must
  170.        be 80, and rows must fall in the range of 25-50.
  171.        Added  the ability  to format  floppy disks  within SHEZ.   Can
  172.        format A or B drives in 360, 720, 1.2, or 1.44 format.

  175.        running under certain Ultravision modes.

  179.        illegal DOS filename in a compressed file.

  192. v8.0   8/17/92  Version 7.5 -  7.9 skipped due  to hacked copies being
  193.        distributed.
  194.        Made SHEZ Ultravision aware. If the screen is in an Ultravision
  195.        mode not supported  by SHEZ, SHEZ  will deactivate  Ultravision
  196.        and then re-activate Ultravision at exit time.
  197.        Corrected  an EMS memory  problem that  caused SHEZ to  lock up
  198.        some PC's.
  199.        SHEZ  will not  allows users  to enter  filename and  directory
  200.        names using the upper ACSII characters.  I.E. characters with a
  201.        decimal value greater than 127.
  202.        Added the option to sort the compressed  file list by directory
  203.        name.
  204.        When converting  compressed files  to  another compressed  file
  205.        format, SHEZ will now identify  the file format of the file  to
  206.        convert  internally, withou  taking  the  file  extension  into
  207.        account.
  208.        When  converting compressed  files  from  one  compressed  file
  209.        format  into another,  SHEZ  will attempt  to  retain the  path
  210.        information if it exists in the source compressed file.
  211.        Modified the mouse  identification code to  identify more  non-
  212.        Microsoft mouse  drivers.  (If your  mouse  does not  work  try
  213.        running the SHEZCFG program and set the FAST MOUSE RESET option
  214.        to N.)
  215.        When converting  from a ZIP to and ARJ or  an ARJ to a ZIP file
  216.        format, you  will be  asked if  you wish  to retain  the Volume
  217.        Label  information.   (THIS  OPTION   WILL  ONLY   APPEAR  WHEN
  218.        CONVERTING ONE FILE AT A TIME.  ALSO THE PROMPT WILL NOT APPEAR
  219.        IF RUNNING SHEZ IN A DOS WINDOWS UNDER OS/2.)
  220.        When creating a new ARJ compressed file,  the user can activate
  221.        ARJ's  multi-volume  support by  responding  to  a multi-volume
  222.        prompt.
  223.        Added a new command ALT-F when viewing the DOS file list to run
  224.        the PKZIPFIX program against the currently highlighted file.
  225.        When  using F8  to edit  a file  contained within  a compressed
  226.        file, SHEZ will  attempt to use the  path information if  it is
  227.        stored in the compressed file.
  228.        Corrected the problem  where the  mouse menu  is not  appearing
  229.        when double clicking on the left mouse button.
