  1. Here are some game tips for the SEGA GENESIS.  All games are listed in
  2. alphabetical order to privide finding them better.  They have not been 
  3. tested by me but have come from different magazines.  This is volume 1 of 
  4. many I hope to put out as I rent more (sometimes buy) more games and get 
  5. more magazines.  Feel free to add any that you know of but make sure they
  6. are for the Sega/Genesis.  Also put whether or not a game genie or other
  7. "helping" device is used.

  14. 1.  Level 2 Password: GJFKFN
  15. 2.  Level 3 Password: PDPKKN

  18.  
  19. COBRA COMMAND(CD)
  20. -----------------
  21. 1.  STAGE SELECT:  On title screen take controller 1 and press these buttons
  22.         in order: up,left,right,right and up.  You can now start any level.
  23.         When you start and stage screen shows"STAGE 1" move the D pad right 
  24.         to scroll through different levels.
  25. 2.  STAGE SKIP:  After inputting level select code and start the game at your
  26.         desired level(tip #1).  When action starts press the START button.  
  27.         The screen will say "STAGE CLEARED" and advance you to the next level.
  28.         This can go on for all levels.

  30. F-22
  31. ----
  32. 1.  Code: GPRJCM : You will fight F-22's, KC-135's and MIG's.
  33.  
  34. LIGHTNING FORCE
  35. ---------------
  36. 1.  99 SHIPS:  Wait for intro to pass and when the title screen says "Press
  37.         Start" press A button and START together to pull up the Configuration
  38.         screen.  Highlight number of ships and set the number to 0.  Start
  39.         game and you will have 99.
  40.  
  41. MUTANT LEAGUE FOOTBALL
  42. ----------------------
  43. 1.  Kill Referee:  You can only do this play once.  Press A button when 
  44.         lining up then press C button twice the team will gang up on the ref.
  45. 2.  Instant Replay:  Press START after a play and you will be able to see the
  46.         last play.  A button rewinds, B moves forward "frame-by-frame" and C
  47.         is for fast forward.

  49. SONIC THE HEDGEHOG
  50. ------------------
  51. 1.  Level Select Screen-when sonic appears after starting cart press
  52.         up-down-left-right hold a and press start. 
  53. 2.  Construction Mode-after doing tip 1, press reset the up-c-down-c-
  54.         left-c-right-c hold a and press start.
  55. 3.  If you go into the level select screen and play a maze for a chaos
  56.         emerald, you will start on level 1 with the chaos emerald if you
  57.         get it.

  59. SONIC THE HEDGEHOG 2
  60. --------------------
  61. 1.  Game Genie Code: SAST-DA1A : Each ring worth 8 pts.
  62. 2.  Game Genie Code: EBVT-CAE2 : Jump a lot higher.
  63. 3.  Collect all Chaos Emeralds:  Begin game, collect 50 or more rings,
  64.         head to the first ground level Sign Post.  Play special round and
  65.         grab the first Emerald.  Next press Reset and select Options on
  66.         title screen.  Choose any charachter and collect another 50 rings.
  67.         You will still have the first emerald and when you return to the 
  68.         first ground level Sign Post you can play another special round to
  69.         collect a second Chaos Emerald.  Keep doing this until you get all 7 
  70.         Chaos Emeralds, when you go to collect the final emerald choose the 
  71.         charachter you wish to play the rest of the game with.
  72. 4.  Super Sonic:  Once you have all 7 Chaos Emeralds, grab 50 rings and sonic
  73.         will turn golden into super sonic with super speed and invincibility.
  74. 5.  Level Selection Screen:  Go to options screen highlight Sound Test box.  
  75.         With pad change numbers of sound test and play them with the B button 
  76.         in this order 19, 65, 9, 17.  When you play song 17 you will hear a 
  77.         distinct ring sound at the begining of the song.  Press START to exit 
  78.         back to title screen. When title screen appears hold A and press START 
  79.         you will see a level selection screen.
  80. 6.  Super Sonic II:  While in screen from  tip #5 highlight the new sound test
  81.         within this screen and play these sounds in order with the B button 
  82.         4, 1, 2, 6.  Choose any stage.  When in the level collect 50 rings 
  83.         and jump in the air to become Super Sonic.  Press START and A to exit
  84.         the level
  85. 7.  Debug Trick:  Highlight the sound test in the level select screen and 
  86.         play the in order with the B button: 1, 9, 9, 2, 1, 1, 2, 4(Sonic 
  87.         Tuesday).  Now choose a stage and hold A button and press START to
  88.         enter it.  In the level press B to change into an object, A to change
  89.         and C to duplicate the item.(Construction Mode)
  90.  
  91. STREETS OF RAGE
  92. ---------------
  93. 1.  Option Screen 2:  Must have controller 2 plugged in.  When title screen
  94.         appears, press START on controller 2.  You will be brought to a 
  95.         screen that will allow you to change # of players, duel, and options.
  96.         Move cursor with controller 2 down to the options and hold A and B 
  97.         simultaneously.  With these held press the START button.  A different
  98.         option screen will appear.  Set your # of lives, select round, and
  99.         get ready for 2 new difficulty settings.  You can change your level to
  100.         very easy or mania for a real challenge.

  102. TAZ-MANIA
  103. ---------
  104. 1.  Go to Iceland level of game, jump over all the ice blocks, except for the
  105.         block just before the arrow.  Stand on this last ice block while it 
  106.         falls, and you'll discover a bunch of goodies for Taz.  Climb back 
  107.         up the ice cliffs and Taz on.

  131. 21. Level 3: Go low or jump over GOGO and go to the end of the board for a
  132.         bell or sometimes the looney toon circles will be there and you can
  133.         go to a special board.  There is also a 3rd board by going up after 
  134.         #2 but It is rare or I don't know how to get it every time.
  135. 22. Level 2: Where 2nd moving grass patch is drop down right side of the 
  136.         moving piece and go right to get free man.
  137. 23. Level 2: Go down quick sand near end with spikes at bottom, jump left into
  138.         wall(hidden entrance) from 2 block patch get 1 heart. Jump from end of 
  139.         hidden entrance to get to 1 block patch above and out to higher ground.
  140. 24. Level 3: Drop down right side of log bridge go right at bottom and get
  141.         free man.  Go to end of level(all the way right) and get extra heart.
  142. 25. Level 5: Look for end of trees going into a wall.  From nearest tree on 
  143.         left jump from bottom right brach of tree right into the wall. Get 
  144.         bell.
