  20.           Rosewood Journal  is an  Invoice Journal  and   complete Accounts
  21.           Receivable program to  be used  in conjunction  with any  General
  22.           Ledger program.

  24.           Rosewood  Journal keeps track of  cash and credit sales invoices,
  25.           payments on account, sales  tax (up to two levels),  and complete
  26.           accounts  receivable.     Accounts  Receivable  lists   are  aged
  27.           (current, 30 days, 60 days and 90+ days). Customer statements are
  28.           designed to be folded  into a standard business window  envelope.
  29.           These statements are also aged. A label maker is built in. Screen
  30.           colours and names of sales taxes  are user configurable. Rosewood
  31.           Journal is simple to learn and easy  to use. There is no need  to
  32.           understand accounting terminology. Entries  are made quickly with
  33.           the  aid  of softkey  macros,  an automatic  search  function and
  34.           intuitive data entry.  A General Ledger report  tells the amounts
  35.           to be entered, and the accounts in which to enter them.

  37.           The program is supported  by telephone, CompuServe E-Mail, or  by
  38.           ordinary  mail.  Upon  registering,  clients  receive  the latest
  39.           program  version  and a  file which  removes the  exhortations to
  40.           register. Distributors will be sent major upgrades.

  42.           Registration: $45 Canadian,  $38 U.S., or the equivalent in other
  43.           currencies. Use the file "ORDER.FRM" to register.

  45.                                     DEMONSTRATION

  47.           Please  note  that  your  CONFIG.SYS file  must  have  an  entry,
  48.           "FILES=15" (or more) or  the program will not run.  The disk that
  49.           you  received or  downloaded  contains sample  data  files for  a
  50.           fictitious company called "Ripley's Fine Catering". The files are
  51.           for January and February 1993. The best way to try the program is
  52.           to copy all files into a directory on your hard disk  (see page 8
  53.           of  the  manual  for  floppy disk  instructions).  Change  to the
  54.           directory with  the program  and  type "RJ"  <Return>. The  menus
  55.           should take you from there. Try entering new invoice data for any
  56.           month  you choose,  including the  demonstration months.  You can
  57.           view  or  print  the reports,  change  softkey  settings and  the
  58.           initialization or set-up file. When you decide to use the program
  59.           with your  own "real" data,  read pages  8 to 10  of the  manual,
  60.           "JOURNAL.DOC".
