  2. MICROSOFT WINDOWS INSTALLATION

  4. First install your book(s) on your hard disk by unZIPping the
  5. Electronic Library archive into the subdirectory of your choice.

  7. 1. Click on the program group you want to install your Electronic
  8. Library into. For example, you might want to pick Applications.
  9.  
  10. 2. Select File/New from the pulldown menu.
  11.  
  12. 3. Choose the radio button Program Item. Click on OK.
  13.  
  14. 4. On the Description Line, enter the name your want to appear below the
  15. icon for your Electronic Library. For example: RFP ELIB. On the Command
  16. Line, enter the subdirectory you installed your Electronic Library into,
  17. followed by the name of the Electronic Library Reader program,
  18. LIBRARY.EXE. For example: C:\RFPELIB\LIBRARY.EXE

  20. 5. Click on OK.

  22. Using a Custom Electronic Library Icon
  23.  
  24. 1. Select the current Electronic Library icon within its Program Group
  25. by clicking on it once.

  27. 2. Select File/Properties from the pulldown menu.

  29. 3. Click on Change Icon. An error dialog box, "There are no icons
  30. available....", will appear. Ignore it and click on OK.

  32. 4. Click on Browse. Select the subdirectory your Electronic Library is
  33. installed in.

  35. 5. When you select the Electronic Library subdirectory, the file box on
  36. the left will display the icons LIBRARY1.ICO through LIBRARY6.ICO. These
  37. are the custom icons that are supplied with your Electronic Library
  38. package. Select one of the icons that are listed and click on OK.

  40. 6. Repeat steps 4 and 5, cycling through the available icons. When you
  41. settle on your favorite icon, click on OK to make it permanent in your
  42. selected Program Group.
