  180. operate properly.

  182. The Export parameter is used when sending recipes to an ASCII
  183. file.  The output is formatted such that the text file can be
  184. imported into a Recipe Box Database using the CONVERT.EXE
  185. utility.

  189.                          Getting Started
  190. ----------------------------------------------------------------

  193. Recipe Box is menu driven with an on-line subject sensitive help
  194. system. Press F1 or <Alt H> at any time to activate the pop-up
  195. window with help information.
  196.  
  197. Choose Quick Guide from the Main Menu (M,Q) to bring up a list of
  198. Quick Guide selections. You can read about different features, as
  199. well as learn short cuts.
  200.  
  201. Hold down the Alt key for several seconds to activate a pop-up
  202. window displaying a list of Hot Keys. These features are
  203. available at any time by pressing either the Alt key and the
  204. appropriate letter or the correct Function Key :
  205.  
  206.     Alt H : Help                          [F1]
  207.     Alt N : Note Pad                      [F2]
  208.     Alt S : Save & Continue               [F3]
  209.     Alt X : Save & Exit to DOS            [F4]

  214. The ESC key and F10 have the same effect. It will let you
  215. escape from where you are and return to where you were.
  216. Hitting the ESC key enough times will return to the top
  217. level Main Menu.

  220. WARNING : You should never exit Recipe Box by turning off the
  221.           power. This could corrupt your data files.

  225.                          Using the Mouse
  226. ----------------------------------------------------------------
  227.  
  228. Recipe Box will automatically detect whether or not a mouse is
  229. active.  If detected, a mouse character will appear on your
  230. screen.
  231.  
  232. The mouse is set up to respond to a single button click or drag.
  233. Both buttons on a 2 button mouse will respond in the same manner.
  234.  
  235. You can scroll through a list (or text) by dragging the upper or
  236. lower potion of the pop up window.  For example, select one of
  237. the topics from the TidBits menu.  Move the mouse pointer to the
  238. lower portion of the window and depress the mouse button.  The
  239. screen will scroll downward until the end of text is reached.
  240. Move the move pointer toward the top of the window to scroll
  241. toward the beginning of the text.
  242.  
  243. To close the current window, move the pointer outside the window
  244. boundary and click the mouse.
  245.  
  246. To select a menu item, click once to highlight and again to
  247. activate.  A single click outside the current window will close
  248. the window (has the same affect as pressing the ESC key).

  263.                  additional subject sensitive help.

  304. Sunrise Software has made available a special licensing
  305. arrangement for Recipe Box Version 2.
  306.  
  307. Sunrise Software will issue a Special Application License (SAL)
  308. for Recipe Box. The theme is to promote the use of our software
  309. with a special set of recipes (a Cookbook).
  310.  
  311. All features and functions are active in the SAL diskette as in
  312. the Registered License version.  If the holder uses Recipe Box
  313. for adding in more recipes or cookbooks, then the holder is
  314. required to obtain (purchase) a registered license.
  315.  
  316. An example of the SAL would be an organization publishing a
  317. cookbook of 100 recipes plus offering a Recipe Box diskette with
  318. the same 100 recipes. A person obtaining the SAL diskette would
  319. have all the features of Recipe Box available to them.
  320.  
  321. If the holder of the SAL diskette becomes a registered user they
  322. will receive the free utilities plus the 115 recipes distributed
  323. with the Shareware version.

  325. Sunrise Software will work with the organization to provide any
  326. desired customizing, such as:

  328.   - Each recipe can be protected to prevent alteration
  329.     or removal from database.
