New to this version since Release. 2.94
QCom:
The screen for changing Communications settings has been redesigned
(Alt-C).
More file transfer protocols have been included with QCom. They are
XModem, XModem-1k, Ymodem batch and Ymodem-G. To use these instead
of DSZ's enable them in the Options screen on line 26 ("1" enables,
"0" disables).
New Script command added:"TAG"
Example:
;TAG PCUG
Will Cause QCom to tag or mark all Dialing Directory entries starting
with "PCUG". To tag only one of several entries with similar names it
is necessary to have something unique in the name you wish to tag.
eg: ";TAG PCUG Node 1"
Change to the script DIAL command: When entries have been tagged with
the above TAG command, use the DIAL command without a specified name.
Example:
;TAG PCUG
;DIAL
This will cause QCom to dial all tagged entries until a connection
is made.
New script command added:"UNTAG"
Example:
;UNTAG
QCom will untag all marked entries.
The opening screen can be cleared quicker by pressing any key during
startup.
Improved split screen Chat mode.
Increased timeout for a connection to be made to 60 seconds in Host Mode.
Bug Fixes:
The "burned out" FiFo LED on the Help screen has been fixed.
Fixed a problem where Escaping from the Dialing Directory editor while
adding would erase the current line in the Directory.
Fixed a pathing problem when downloading while using the QZ module.
Fixed a problem where Host Mode wouldn't send screens to the caller.
Fixed flow control problem with ascii uploads.
Fixed Host Mode problem of not sending host screens.
QMP:
Can "Enter" a message from scratch without being in a conference with
messages. Press "E" when in the conference selection box.
Now accomodates conference numbers with 4 digits.
Can now save the New Files bulletins.
For all you tagline collectors, we've changed the file methods for
getting taglines from the "QMPTag.Txt" file. The new method creates an
index to the file the first time you do a reply. With the index 32670
taglines are allowed in the file. The index speeds access to the
tagline file and also makes it unnecessary to have each line
in file the same length.
Bug Fix: Tagline Borrow function was corrupting the QMPTag.Txt file
somewhat which would lead to a crash if the user attempted to Reply to
a message afterward.
