  1. The PrideNET Chat echo is an open echo.  PN Chat is for the discussion 
  2. of issues that may be of interest to the Gay/Lesbian or BiSexual users
  3. in our communities.
  4.  
  5. The PN Chat echo is open to all (even minors) that have an interest in 
  6. related issues.  The purpose of the echo is to be  supportive and 
  7. informative.
  8.  
  9. Any group or BBS that wishes to advertise EVENTS or CONFERENCES that 
  10. may be of interest to all may do so.  They may post the phone numbers 
  11. for the principle contacts for these functions or for BBS's that carry 
  12. special files or echos.
  13.  
  14. The PN Chat echo is not a fantasy, or sex-oriented echo and messages
  15. relating to such are not permitted. What is needed is constructive input 
  16. and positive support. Bashing or flaming of any individual is not 
  17. acceptable behavior and will not be tolerated. Aliases are encouraged.

  19. 1.   Foul or obscene language belongs on the street, NOT in this
  20.      echo.
  21.  
  22. 2.   Challenge the issue, not the person.
  23.  
  24. 3.   Preaching is best kept to the pulpit and bible specific
  25.      echos but not in this echo, this includes any discussions
  26.      related to any religious philosophies or practices.
  27.  
  28. 4.   If you disagree with the lifestyle, take your arguments to a
  29.      more appropriate echo.
  30.  
  31. 5.   Please keep to the topic of the echo. Discussion of sexual
  32.      activities, posting of personal ads and/or proposals for
  33.      sexual activity are not topics for discussion. When in
  34.      doubt, please netmail the moderator.
  35.  
  36. 6.   Aliases (or handles) are permitted and encouraged according
  37.      to the policy of the local Sysop. However, if problems arise
  38.      with postings, that privilege in this echo will be withdrawn.

  40. 7.   Messages from the moderator concerning enforcement of the
  41.      rules are NOT considered off topic, however, neither are
  42.      they topics for general discussion by anyone other than the
  43.      moderator and the person being addressed.

  45. 8.   Play nice.

  47. 9.   That's it, except that if someone comes up with a new and
  48.      improved way to aggravate all, the moderator reserves the
  49.      right to make a rule to fit the occasion.
