PCP.VER VERSION 13.10 14 Dec 92
This file describes the different versions of the PC Pursuit
Library, and the bugs (oops!) that were corrected. It also
includes the features that were added.
VERSION 13.10 14 Dec 92
This version of PC Pursuit Utilities includes the changes made
to area codes 201, 213, 216, 310, 818, 908 and 919. The outdials
CAGLE, CALAN, NCRTP, NJNEW and OHCLE were all updated this past
month. All of these changes are incorporated into this version.
No new outdials or area codes were added.
VERSION 13.00 14 Dec 92
This version number was NOT used. To use this version number
would indicate that a NEW OUTDIAL was added, when none was added.
Due to the numerous changes made to JUST the outdials this
version number was skipped.
VERSION 12.90 13 Nov 92
Talk about fast updates, just two days after ILCHI was
updated, DCWAS was updated! It looks like a lot of area code 202
was deleted, and area codes 301 and 703 each had a few exchanges
added.
VERSION 12.80 11 Nov 92
SprintNet is moving fast to update their outdials. As a
result of that the outdial ILCHI was just updated. Area code 312
lost a lot of exchanges, while area code 708 has gained a few.
This is mostly due to the local telephone companies
restructuring.
VERSION 12.70 28 Oct 92
SprintNet has again updated their outdials, in what seems to
be a continuing series. The outdial GAATL was updated this date.
VERSION 12.60 20 Oct 92
PCP.VER VERSION 13.10 14 Dec 92
Today SprintNet added 129 NEW exchanges to the area code 516.
Seventeen of them were old ones that could be reached via NYNYO,
so they did not count as new exchanges. These figures combined
give the NEW total of 345 exchanges in 516 that are PC
Pursuitable. The OLD total was 199 exchanges via NYHEM, and 17
exchanges via NYNYO. Add these together with the 129 NEW
exchanges and you get the current total of 345 exchanges.
VERSION 12.50 27 Sep 92
This is a bug fix. I messed up! I used my OLD .xch files to
make the previous version of the PCP.Library file, and because of
that the area code 310 was left totally blank! This version
corrects that problem. I would not have noticed it at all, if a
person on the PC Pursuit bulletin board had not mentioned it. I
usually run several test files to flush out errors, but if you
never ask for area code 310 then you will never find the problem.
I changed them and they now ask for area code 310... There was
also a problem with the PCPList program (on the AMIGA version).
I declared a unsigned char pointer as a char pointer, causing
nothing to be printed. I fixed it!
VERSION 12.40 22 Jul 92
The outdial for NYNYO had some changes made to it, but still
no new outdials or area codes as of yet!
VERSION 12.30 08 Jul 92
The outdial MABOS had some exchanges added to it, and some
changed. All in all no new outdials or area codes...
VERSION 12.20 08 Apr 92
The system is being updated rapidly now! The outdials MIAAR
and ORPOR had some new exchanges added to them. Just minor
changes in this version.
VERSION 12.10 31 Mar 92
This time the outdial MOSLO had minor changes made to it.
The changes were in area code 314.

PCP.VER VERSION 13.10 14 Dec 92
VERSION 12.00 20 Mar 92
Now we are moving. Three outdials were updated on this date,
and area code 310 was added to the outdial CASAN, also the
dialing sequence for this outdial has changed. The outdials
CACOL and CASDI had minor changes made to them.
VERSION 11.10 10 Mar 92
In this version of the library the outdial AZPHO had some
changes made to it, nothing major.
VERSION 11.00 06 Feb 92
The outdials CAGLE and CALAN had the area code 310 added to
them. THe dialing sequence for these outdials has changed also.
VERSION 10.50 08 Jan 92
Now were are moving again. Five of the outdials were updated
on this date. The outdial's CAPAL and CASJO had the area code
510 added to them, CAPAL also added the area code 408, and NJNBR
had area code 201 added. The outdial MABOS had several exchanges
added, along with NJNBR and NJNEW. PCPFind and PCPList now will
check the PATH entered with the program name to see if the
PCP.Library is there first, then the CURRENT directory then the
LIBS: directory. Run PCPList through your favorite BBS list
again, they just might be PC Pursuitable now...
VERSION 10.00 13 Dec 91
Finally the area code 510 has been added to our database.
Two outdials have changed due to this update. They are CAOAK and
CASFA. When using area code 415 with CAOAK, you now need to use
a 1 - 415. When using area code 510 in CASFA you need the 1 -
510 when dialing. Of course the PC Pursuit Utilities programs
take care of all of this for you! A change was also made in the
function that looks for the PCP.Library file. First it will look
in your current directory, then it will look into the LIBS:
directory. This change is due to a suggestion by Billy Bradford
on the PC Pursuit BBS.

PCP.VER VERSION 13.10 14 Dec 92
VERSION 9.10 31 Oct 91
OK, today, Halloween, SprintNet added 25 new exchanges to
CASAC area code 916. Some of the exchanges added now require you
to use 1 - area code to get to them.
VERSION 9.00 08 Oct 91
Ok, finally we have a NEW OUTDIAL! Yes, its been several
months, but we now have New Orleans, LA! The outdial mnemonic is
LANOR, area code 504.
VERSION 8.10 29 Apr 91
In this version just a "PAPERWORK" change was made. The
outdial NJNBR had area code 201 DELETED. If you look closely at
the exchange files, you will notice that all of the exchanges in
NJNBR are the same for both area codes. Area code 201 NJNBR has
been deleted from the PCP.Library to reflect this change. ALL of
the exchanges are still reachable in area code 201, EXCEPT, you
now must dial them through NJNBR 908. This is what I was told by
the PC Pursuit Customer Service Department.
VERSION 8.00 23 Apr 91
OK, now they got my attention, another NEW outdial. This
time it is MIAAR in area code 313.
VERSION 7.00 08 Apr 91
Moving right along, a NEW outdial was added to the PC Pursuit
system. It is PAPIT in area code 412. This outdial has been
added to this version of the PCP.Library.
VERSION 6.00 21 Mar 91
Finally NEW outdials are being added quickly. PC Pursuit
added the outdial ININD, area code 317. This change is now
incorporated into the PCP.Library file.
VERSION 5.10 06 Mar 91

code. Twenty-Five new exchanges were also added. Here is a
summary of the changes to AZPHO.

PCP.VER VERSION 13.10 14 Dec 92
VERSION 4.10 14 Feb 91
In this version the outdial NJNEW was updated. Also in this
version, A VERY IMPORTANT CHANGE WAS MADE! All of the outdials
were checked for the area codes or 1 - area code requirement.
They are ALL current as of 15 February 1991. I'll try to keep
them current from now on!
VERSION 4.00 08 Feb 91
This version added the NEW outdials TNMEM, TXAUS. The
SprintNet system is fast expanding, and I am trying to keep up
with it. This PCP.Library is LATE, sorry!
VERSION 3.00 01 Feb 91
This version of the PC Pursuit Library adds in the new
outdials NJNBR, NYHEM, UTSLC. The version numbers of each
program are also separated in this version. The PC Pursuit
Library had a version number added with this version, it is
Version 3.00. Anytime that the PCP.Library file is changed it
will have a NEW version number. The version number will be +1
for a NEW OUTDIAL, and +.1 for a CHANGED outdial.
VERSION 1.70
Here the area codes were updated for the DCWAS outdial.
Recently the outdials were changed so that when calling area
codes 301 or 703, the area code must be entered.
VERSION 1.60
This version corrected the problem with the outdial CTHAR.
The problem was that this outdials' area code was not included
within the PCP Library, causing the message "Area code 203 not PC
Pursuitable.".
VERSION 1.40
In this version the problem in the outdial AZPHO, has been
corrected. The outdial exchanges were all cleared in the PC
Page 6 of 6
PCP.VER VERSION 13.10 14 Dec 92
Pursuit library, so the program PCPFind never noticed any
exchanges in this outdial. This caused the message "Area code
602 listed, but exchange XXX not PC Pursuitable.".
