  7. Users of Print Commander! must accept this disclaimer of warranty:

  9. "Print Commander! is supplied as is.  The author disclaims all warranties,
  10. expressed or implied, including, without limitation, the warranties of 
  11. merchantability and of fitness for any purpose. The author assumes no 
  12. liability for damages, direct or consequential, which may result from the 
  13. use of Print Commander!"

  15. Print Commander! is a "shareware program" and is provided at no charge
  16. to you for evaluation.  Feel free to share it with your friends, 
  17. but please do not give it away altered or as part of another system.  
  18. The essence of "user-supported" software is to provide personal computer 
  19. users with quality software without high prices, and yet to provide 
  20. incentive for programmers to continue to develop new products.  If you 
  21. find this program useful and find that you are using Print Commander! and 
  22. continue to use Print Commander! after a reasonable trial period, you must 
  23. make a registration payment (see "PCOM_INV.TXT") to Sorcerer Software.  The 
  24. registration fee will license one copy for use on any one computer at any
  25. one time.  You must treat this software just like a book.  As an example  
  26. this software may be used by any number of people and may be freely 
  27. moved from one computer location to another, as long as there is no 
  28. possibility of it being used at one location while it's being used at 
  29. another, just as a book cannot be read by two different persons at the
  30. same time.

  32. Commercial users of Print Commander! must register and pay for their
  33. copies of Print Commander! within 30 days of first use or their license
  34. may be withdrawn.  Site-License arrangements can be made by contacting
  35. Sorcerer Software.

  37. Anyone distributing Print Commander! for any kind of remuneration must
  38. first contact Sorcerer Software at the address below for authorization.
  39. This authorization will be automatically granted to distributors
  40. recognized by the ASP (Association of Shareware Professionals) as adhering
  41. to its guidelines for shareware distributors, and such distributors
  42. may begin offering Print Commander! immediately. However Sorcerer Software
  43. must still be advised so that the distributor can be kept up-to-date with 
  44. the latest version of Print Commander!
  45.  
  46. You are encouraged to pass a copy of Print Commander! along to your
  47. friends and colleagues for evaluation.  Please encourage them to register
  48. their copy if they find that they like and use it.  All registered users 
  49. will receive a copy of the latest version of Print Commander!

  92. REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS

  94. Please take a moment to register your copy of Print Commander! The
  95. following registration options are available to you:
  96.  
  97.         PRINT COMMANDER!        A $15.00 fee entitles the licensee to use a
  98.                                 registered (non-shareware) version. In
  99.                                 PCOM_INV.TXT please provide your CPU type
  100.                                 and printer make and model.
  101.                                 This allows us to provide you with a
  102.                                 program optimized for your particular
  103.                                 system.
  104.  
  105.         CUSTOM                  A $30.00 fee entitles the licensee to use a
  106.         PRINT COMMANDER!        customized version. In PCOM_INV.TXT please
  107.                                 provide CPU and printer information;
  108.                                 color preferences; hot key preferences;
  109.                                 name or message you wish to have appear on 
  110.                                 screen when program is loaded (if any); and          
  111.                                 specific fonts or other printer functions
  112.                                 you would like included. We may need to
  113.                                 speak to you directly about this, so please 
  114.                                 include your telephone number.

  136. your processor and printer, plus a copy of a second version of Print 
  137. Commander! that was written to be called directly from the command line. 
  138. This program is NOT a TSR and therefore can be used in Windows like any 
  139. other DOS program!

  141. By registering we will be able to update you regarding future releases
  142. of Print Commander! Registered users will also receive a discount on the 
  143. next version and on additional releases from Sorcerer Software.
