  15. Profit Chef is designed to insure that the products that a deli
  16. or restaurant sells are profitable.  When the price of an
  17. ingredient changes, the selling price of any end product that
  18. contains this ingredient is evaluated to determine if a change
  19. should be made.  For instance many recipes may contain sugar.
  20. If the price of sugar increases the selling price of many items
  21. will need to be increased.  Also, prep time labor can be included
  22. as an ingredient in a recipe.  If wages of kitchen personnel
  23. change then the price of all the products should change.
  24. The most labor intensive items should change the most.

  27. Installation
  28.  
  29. 1.  Copy all files to a diskette if they are not already on one.
  30.     Some of the files are in compressed form and can not be used
  31.     without installing through the setup procedure.

  33. 2.  Start Windows.
  34.  
  35. 3.  Insert the diskette into drive A:
  36.  
  37. 4.  From Program Manager, select File menu and choose Run.
  38.  
  39. 5.  Type a:\setup and press ENTER
  40.  
  41. Alternatively you may copy all of the files to a temporary
  42. directory instead of a diskette and run setup from that
  43. temporary directory.

  45. Registration
  46.  
  47. Registration of the software would be appreciated.  When you
  48. register you will recieve a registered copy of the latest
  49. version of the program.  To register send the following 
  50. information to me at the above address.

  56.     Your Compuserve ID if you have one
  57.     Version number of Profit chef that you have.

  59. The suggested registration fee is $25.00 but use your judgement
  60. and base the amount that you send on the usefulness that you
  61. perceive.

  64. you think will use it.
