  21.         Not everyone follows the obvious rules of always identifying
  22.         Switzerland as Switzerland or using the U.S. postal codes for
  23.         states.  Instead there are many ways of spelling place names. 
  24.         When importing GEDCOM files from other sources, or even when
  25.         several individuals are entering data in one PAF database,
  26.         identifying these differences and correcting them one by one can
  27.         be tedious and time consuming.  There is also the problem of names
  28.         typed in with all uppercase letters and correct capitalization of
  29.         some last names such as those beginning with Mc or Mac.  NE4PAF is
  30.         a utility to help you make these kinds of corrections.

  32.         NE4PAF will allow you to edit the name file (NAME2.DAT) of
  33.         Personal Ancestral File (tm), version 2.2.  It will also 
  34.         automatically place all names in lowercase letters except for the
  35.         first letter of the name while also capitalizing the first letter
  36.         to follow Mc, Mac, a space, or the characters: (, ), [, ], the
  37.         question mark or the comma.

  39.         When individual names are changed, all related changes to the
  40.         individual (INDIV2.DAT) or marriage (MARR2.DAT) files are
  41.         performed. NE4PAF comes in two versions. NE4PAF1 can be used if
  42.         your NAME2.DAT file is smaller than 62,000 bytes.  Since it does
  43.         all name manipulation in memory it operates fast.  NE4PAF2 must be
  44.         used if your NAME2.DAT file is larger than 62,000 bytes.  Since it
  45.         uses disk space in place of memory, it operates much more slowly.
