  20.         The following information was taken from the first screen that
  21.         appears when you run FHSGED.  There is no other documentation. 
  22.  
  23.         FHSGED will convert Family History System files to a GEDCOM file.
  24.         It was written by John Steed, author of Brother's Keeper. If you
  25.         have a new version of FHS, you can use the FHS program directly to
  26.         create the TRANSFER.GED file.  Use this program if you have an
  27.         older version of FHS without that capability.

  29.         The GEDCOM file produced is in PAF 2.1 format and may be used to
  30.         transfer information into Brother's Keeper when using the BK
  31.         GEDCOM program.  This GEDCOM file should also be compatable with
  32.         other programs that can input a GEDCOM file in PAF 2.1 format.

  34.         This version copies all information about the person and marriages
  35.         and all links of parent/child and spouse/spouse.  It can handle
  36.         10,000 marriages.  You will need the FHS person file (FAMILY.NAM)
  37.         and the marriage/place file (FAMILY.OTH) on the same drive.

  39.         If you have trouble with your GEDCOM file transfering to another
  40.         system, it could be because FHS allows a person's mother to be
  41.         male and the father to be female.  This causes havoc with most
  42.         other programs.  Check your data files for that possibility, and
  43.         if found, correct any errors and create a new GEDCOM file.
