  26.         PAFBak is an automated utility to back up your Personal Ancestral 
  27.         File (PAF) data files.

  32.         PAFBak should be run as part of a batch  file which will run your
  33.         Family Records (FR) program.  A sample batch file is supplied.  A
  34.         similar batch file can be created for the Research Data  Filer
  35.         (RDF) and the Genealogical Information Exchange (GIE).  Each time
  36.         you exit PAF, PAFBak will check the specified directory for all
  37.         .DAT files, and will copy them to floppy diskette(s).  If your
  38.         data is voluminous, multiple diskettes are automatically
  39.         supported.  Files are selected on a best fit basis to reduce the
  40.         number of back-up diskettes. Files are NOT split between back-up
  41.         diskettes.

  43.         Prior to copying the data to the back-up diskette, the diskette
  44.         will be  cleaned of data.  PAFBak will format diskettes, if
  45.         requested.  PAFBak will support a mouse, if a mouse driver is
  46.         found.  PAFBak will copy to 360, 720, 1.2 or 1.44 meg diskettes. 
  47.         PAFBak will only run on a 100% IBM compatible computer, with at
  48.         least 256K of memory.  It will run on MONO, HERC, CGA, EGA or VGA
  49.         monitors,  but will look best if run on a color system.
