  6. MuziTrak System is distributed as a self extracting archive file. 
  7. If you didn't receive it as such, or failed to receive an opening
  8. message upon running the file, you may have an altered copy.  If
  9. you suspect this, call Blam Entertainment Group as soon as possible
  10. for an authenticity verification.  The telephone number is listed
  11. at the end of this document.

  14. SYSTEM UPDATES:
  15.  
  16. This version of Muzitrak applies updates from the following
  17. versions:
  18.      1.00, 1.10, 1.11
  19.  
  20.  
  21. IMPORTANT NOTICES:
  22.  
  23. *    MuziTrak System is loaded using the "MT.EXE" file.
  24.  
  25. *    MuziTrak System uses dBASE compatible .DBF files.  However,
  26.      these files contain compressed data which will cause display
  27.      problems with dBASE and regular .DBF viewers.  DO NOT try to
  28.      use these .DBF files with any program other than MuziTrak.
  29.  
  30. *    If you get an error during program load which states "Blam
  31.      Entertainment Group - Out of Environment Space", there isn't
  32.      enough room inside your computer for a required variable. 
  33.      Consult your DOS documentation on how to increase your
  34.      environment space.
  35.  
  36. *    Be sure the following line is included in your CONFIG.SYS.
  37.  
  38.           Files=20
  39.  
  40.      If you already have a files statement, be sure it's value is
  41.      at least 20.  MuziTrak System will not honour any file handles
  42.      above 8 if the files are loaded into high memory.  All file
  43.      handles should be located in conventional memory.

  46. *    In order for the reports to print directly out of MuziTrak
  47.      System, the following line should be in your AUTOEXEC.BAT
  48.      file.
  49.  
  50.           PRINT /D:PRN
  51.  
  52.      This isn't necessary but it will eliminate the need to specify
  53.      a print device the first time you print a report.
  54.  
  55. *    Be sure to have backup copies of your files before you upgrade
  56.      to a new version or before you install your serial number.
  57.  
  58. *    For complete system documentation, please read "MT-USER.DOC".
  59.  
  60. *    For an explanation of modifications from version to version,
  61.      please read the "MT-NEW.DOC" file.
  62.  
  63. *    If you are converting from DiscTrak System, the nine (9) .DBF
  64.      files must be present in the directory you wish to use for
  65.      MuziTrak.  If you are a registered user of DiscTrak and the
  66.      .EXE file is also present, your registration will
  67.      automatically transfer into MuziTrak.

  70. A full Microsoft Windows version of MuziTrak System is being
  71. planned.  However, we will have to completely recode the program in
  72. another language as Clipper does not port into Windows.  This may
  73. be a while in coming.

  76. If you can think of anything special you'd like to see in MuziTrak
  77. System, please call or write and give your feedback.  With your
  78. help, we can make MuziTrak System the best CD cataloging program
  79. available for the shareware price.
