Directory Utility (Ver. 1.2)
Directory Utility (DU) is a disk and file management utility.
It allows the user to quickly clean up and arrange his directory
structure and files. When run, DU displays two directories (the
default directories if no command line arguments are given) and
by using the buttons at the bottom of the screen (or the highlighted
letters) the user can copy, move, and delete both files and
directories. One concept that is useful to remember is that DU
operates FROM the directory under the base of the arrow, and TO the
directory under the point of the arrow. The only exception is the
clear button, which clears all highlights from both directories. DU
requires a color 80 column display and a 386 or better processor.
It will run the display in 43 or 50 row mode if available. A mouse
is suggested, but not needed.
