  2. Are you envious of your Macintosh-using friends because their fonts have
  3. 15 more characters than Microsoft saw fit to include in the Windows ANSI
  4. character set?  Such helpful characters as SIGMA, APPROXEQUAL, and LOZENGE?

  6. Well, fret no more!  The enclosed FREE font from QualiType called
  7. "Mac Characters" includes these 15 characters in Sans-Serif and Serif
  8. varieties, mapped to the upper case and lower case letters A-O,
  9. respectively.  To use these characters, install either the TrueType or
  10. Type 1 "Mac Characters" font enclosed via the normal font install method.
  11. Load the "Mac Characters" font into Windows' Character Map utility
  12. and copy the character you want to the clipboard, then paste into your
  13. application.  Remember that you must still change the pasted text to the
  14. "Mac Characters" font in your application, since Character Map does not
  15. retain font information on the clipboard.

  17. This font is provided free of charge courtesy of QualiType, publishers of
  18. the "QualiType Font Value Pack for Windows" and "QualiType FontHandler"
  19. (available 2nd Qtr 1993) programs.
