Vendor Description
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hot Operator -- Category: Business applications, Programming, LAN/Network
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Short Description --
A multi-user, unattended production job scheduler! Great for
client/server situations where user sites must run production schedules,
yet they have no operations staff to do so. Hot Operator turns a dedicated
PC into a full operations staff. Run nightly production based on time or
interval -- even check for successfull completion and reschedule if
necessary.
Long Description --
Hot Operator is NOT a menu program; Hot Operator is NOT a wakeup
routine. Hot Operator IS a complete production job scheduling system. Meet
your production requirements without having to hire and train an operations
staff.
Hot Operator runs multi-user -- this means your technical group can
define and maintain production jobs that will run at a client site. Hot
Operator handles job scheduling. Schedule jobs to run at certain times, on
certain days, certain intervals of time -- or combinations. Check for
successful job completion -- reschedule jobs if they've failed or run
special exception reports based on job failure. There's even a special
security mode that keeps job definitions safe from tampering.
Registration: $89.00
Printed manual, newest version, 90 days free technical support.
