  1. Enclosed are the player lists for the ExecBall Fantasy Baseball
  2. League.  The file PLAYER.LST is standard ASCII and can be printed
  3. using the DOS print command, or edited in any text editor.

  5. Each team must rank the players at each position according to the
  6. following chart:
  7.  
  8.   First Base (1B)      Rank your top 20 (1 = player you would
  9.                                          most like to have,
  10.                                          2 = player you would
  11.                                          next most like to have
  12.                                          etc.)
  13.   Second Base (2B)        Rank top 20
  14.   Third Base (3B)         Rank top 20
  15.   Shortstop (SS)          Rank top 20
  16.   Catcher (C)             Rank top 20
  17.   Designated Hitter (DH)  Rank top 10
  18.   Outfield (OF)           Rank top 60   (Treat all 3 columns as
  19.                                          one list)
  20.   Relief Pitcher (RP)     Rank top 40      "
  21.   Starting Pitcher (SP)   Rank top 80      "

  23. The player lists were compiled from lists of projected starters in
  24. both The Sporting News Baseball Yearbook, and USA Today Baseball
  25. Weekly.  If there is a player who does not appear on the list (for
  26. example Bo Jackson), you can rank him at his position along with
  27. the other players listed.

  29. After you have completed all of the rankings, return your list to
  30. me in either a private message in the Fantasy Baseball topic or by
  31. US mail to:

  37. After I have received everyone's lists, I will conduct the player
  38. dispersal and put the results in a file in the Mahoney collection. 
  39. You will receive two each of 1B, 2B, 3B, SS and C, one DH, six OF,
  40. four RP and eight SP.  This will be 11 players more than you will
  41. need to have a legal 18 player roster.  You will then need to trim
  42. your roster down to 18 active players and a 4 player reserve squad
  43. by Opening Day, April 5.
